BEST OF THE BEST: UK MCs 2010 - My Views

Firstly don't make me laugh...I just did.

The list is

1. Tinie Tempah

2. Dizzee Rascal

3. Skepta

4. Pro Green

5. Wiley

6. Giggs

7. Devlin

8. P Money

9. D Double E

10. Chipmunk & Lowkey

They were voted on

· Buzz – Which MCs created the most attention online, on radio, on TV and in the streets?
· Impact – Who were the most successful? Which MCs influenced the scene commercially and on the underground?
· MCing ability - Whose lyrics, flow, delivery and content were the best?
· Acclaim - Which MCs got the most ratings from DJs, journalists, critics and the fans?
· Swagger - Which MCs set trends, introduced new styles and sounds, as well as elevating themselves to new levels?

I don't even know who is Lowkey...so I listened to some of his stuff > (35%) uni heads know what that means...

The top 3 are correct, I only discovered P money since the pow 2011 tune...then I found he made that 'slang tune' (fam, cuz, and so on)

For me Chipmunk should be higher, and Tinchy Sprayer should be in the list

Baroness King of Bow

Enterprise Challenge

Yesterday Tuffy, Olly and I went to the Enterprise Challenge evening. 90% were wearing suits, me and Tuffy went in cords and wallabees (yes everyone has to ask where I get my clarks).

I had two interesting discussions one with the Dean of the Business school and one with the Bright Sparks guys about computer games (watch out for my profile on World of Warcraft)

Well done to Mose and Jimmy as well!

Nas & Damian Marley - Patience video

My mate Patrick just posted this on facebook, very very deep video.

He pointed out @1:13 African Olmecs, @1:36 Oni of Ife. very interesting stuff!

Just going to wait for the 'youtube videos' for someone to go deeper.

The video was directed by Nabil Elderkin (Kanye West's "Welcome to Heartbreak").

Nas & Damian need to do videos for each and every single on the album.

A Bashment/Dancehall Situation.

"Cool like mi wash Mi face wit di cake soap"

Thanks to not having a TV and downloading Spotify, I have broaden my horizons in regards to the music I listen to (bashment/Dancehall is one). Check out my playlist's (their fire) lol.

I never knew it was real!

But as Nick said Vybz can be rubbish sometimes, so I did a little search and I found this tune.

"emmm emmmm my moneyyyy ha haaa"

Ahhhh I love banter...

A football match in Ghana had to be abandoned after a red card was shown & 50,000 Nigerians ran on the pitch thinking it was a British Passport! LOOOOOOL
